Check out “Who Does?”, the sticky and swarming two-minute heatseeker of a first flight from Manila’s Bee Eyes ; an insectoid, buzzing rarity of a song that could perhaps be compared to some of our favourite racket-made boys and girls found shilly-shallying in the shallows of many a grown weary beach metaphor in pursuit of the perfect cutaway summer asleep-all-day anthem this year if the water into which they plunged was a bubbling black abyss, an undead sea of locusts – tempestuous, fearfully phosphorescent and singing with the half submerged, crazed choral harmonies of a malevolent and magnetic mermaid covenant.
